Wearable water bottle for agricultural workers
This project was part of the Camelbak x Autodesk Fusion 360 design competition, where I aimed to create a practical solution for agricultural workers. These workers face demanding conditions and are often at risk of dehydration, yet they are underpaid and frequently overlooked, especially in the design world.
I designed a wearable water bottle that allows workers to access cold water during their long shifts, even between official water breaks. After testing various placements, I found that the lower back was the most comfortable and unobtrusive location for the bottle. I shaped the bottle to be curved and contour to the back for better comfort and fit.
Using Fusion 360, I modeled the water bottle and 3D-printed a scaled prototype. I then hand-sewed a pouch using found materials to hold the bottle securely in place.
